How much is a taxi to the Port of Miami?

Fares are fixed and quoted before you book: transfers within Miami, including Miami Beach, Brickell and downtown hotels, start at $75; Miami International Airport transfers start at $89; and long-distance runs such as Fort Lauderdale airport start at $129. The quote includes tolls, port access, meet and greet, and standard waiting time.

Is the price really fixed, even in traffic?

Yes. The fare you see at booking is the fare you pay, whether the causeway is empty or I-95 is crawling. We do not use meters and we never apply surge pricing, including on peak embarkation mornings when ride-hail prices in Miami spike.

What is included in every transfer?

Every booking includes flight tracking on airport pickups, meet and greet with a name sign, waiting time of 60 minutes for international flights and 30 minutes for domestic, all tolls and port fees, luggage assistance, free WiFi and bottled water in the vehicle.

Can I book a round trip, to the ship and back after the cruise?

Yes, and we recommend it. Book both legs at once and your post-cruise pickup is locked in before you sail. Disembarkation morning is the hardest time of the week to find a car at PortMiami, and pre-booked passengers skip that problem entirely.

How far in advance should I book my cruise transfer?

Booking a few days ahead is enough most of the year. During peak cruise season, roughly December through April, and for group vehicles like Sprinters, we suggest booking as soon as your flights are confirmed. Same-day bookings are often possible by phone at (786) 755-3880.

What time should I leave MIA for my cruise?

Accepted Answer

From Miami International Airport allow 20 to 30 minutes of driving plus a buffer for port bridge traffic. As a rule of thumb, leave the airport at least 90 minutes before your boarding cutoff. We help you set the pickup time when you book, based on the actual ship and day.

Can I use Fort Lauderdale airport for a Miami cruise?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely, and many cruisers do because FLL fares are often cheaper. The drive to PortMiami is about 28 miles and takes 35 to 50 minutes outside rush hour. Land at least four hours before boarding closes and the connection is comfortable; we track your flight and plan the I-95 run around live traffic.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Nothing you need to act on. We track the flight number on your booking, your driver adjusts to the actual landing time, and your included waiting time starts only after the plane arrives. If a major delay threatens your boarding cutoff, we call you and re-plan rather than leave you guessing.

How early can you pick us up after the cruise?

Accepted Answer

As early as ships start releasing passengers. Walk-off guests at PortMiami are often at the curb between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m., and we stage cars from that first wave onward. Tell us whether you are self-assist or using checked luggage and we time the pickup to your group.

Which terminal does my cruise ship use at PortMiami?

As a rule: Terminal A is Royal Caribbean, Terminal B is Norwegian, Terminals C and D are Carnival, Terminal E and the new Terminal F complex are MSC, and Terminal V is Virgin Voyages. Berths can shift on busy days, so we verify your ship against the port schedule the evening before and brief your driver.

Will the driver drop us at the terminal door?

Yes. You are dropped in the passenger lane of your specific terminal, next to the porter stations that take checked bags to the ship. Terminal V guests are taken through Virgin's separate entrance, which many drivers unfamiliar with the port miss.

How do we find our driver at the port after disembarking?

Exit your terminal building and your driver meets you at the designated pickup area holding a sign with your name. You also receive the driver's name, photo and phone number by text, so if a customs line runs long, you can reach each other directly.

Do you have vehicles for large cruise groups?

Yes. Beyond sedans and SUVs we run 14-passenger Mercedes Sprinters and a limo and party bus option for up to 10 guests. One vehicle for the whole group is almost always cheaper and far easier to coordinate on embarkation morning than multiple cars.

Do you provide child seats for cruise transfers?

Yes, infant, toddler and booster seats are available as add-ons during online booking. Florida law requires child restraints through age five, and port taxi lines cannot provide them on the spot, so reserving one with your transfer is the reliable way to have it.
