Terminal B (Norwegian)

8 miles from MIA15-25 minutes from MIAfrom $75 · from Miami hotels; $89 from MIA

Terminal B, the wave-shaped building Norwegian calls the Pearl of Miami, opened in 2020 and gave NCL a permanent, purpose-built home at PortMiami. It sits mid-port on the north side of Dodge Island, and its curbside layout is genuinely good: a covered drop-off arc, porters stationed the length of it, and check-in one escalator up. The building does its job; your only task is arriving at the right one at the right time.

That is where we come in. Norwegian guests connect to Terminal B from every direction, and each approach has its own quirk. From MIA it is a quick run but the port entrance bridge stacks up mid-morning. From FLL it is a 28-mile leg where departure time decides everything. From a South Beach hotel it is fifteen minutes across the MacArthur Causeway, but only if your car actually shows up at checkout rush. We schedule every pickup against your ship's boarding window, confirm your driver the night before, and keep the fare fixed no matter what the road does.

A Terminal B tip most first-timers miss: Norwegian's Miami departures often board late morning and sail at 4 or 5 p.m., which leaves time for an unhurried 10 a.m. hotel pickup rather than a panicked 8 a.m. one. On the return, Terminal B disembarkation is typically done by 9:30 a.m.; we stage cars from 7:30 for walk-off guests and track the terminal's pace, not a guess, so you are never standing at the curb wondering.
